Buna Tetu Posters

Info
This project is a poster series for Jazz Café Buna Tetu, translating the sound of jazz into visuals through generative design.
Each poster is born from the data of a specific track, creating a direct dialogue between music and image.
The visual language draws inspiration from the iconic jazz posters and record covers of past decades, where bold, structured typography met fluid, rhythmic forms. The compositions are generated in Processing (Java), using sound analysis and frequency visualization techniques to create dynamic, responsive graphics. Different frequency bands—bass, mids, and highs—activate and shape the visual elements, pulsing in sync with the music.
Every track results in a distinct visual composition, where sound dictates the distribution of shapes, the rendering of color, and the intensity of the piece. Just as no two jazz performances are ever the same, each poster in this series is unique, capturing the energy of a fleeting moment.
The outcome is a collection of abstract, rhythmic posters that channel the energy, texture, and improvisational spirit of jazz—reinterpreted through the lens of digital, algorithmic design.
