Baltakos Law Firm

Info
Baltakos Law Firm is not just a law firm. It is a story of law and dedication, deeply engraved in time. It carries the name of its founder, Takis Baltakos, one of the most esteemed and respected legal professionals in Greece, and embodies a legacy that connects the past with the present.
The design of the corporate identity captures exactly this timelessness: a union of experience, legal tradition, and modern dynamism. The logo focuses on the name BALTAKOS, giving it a dominant position and recognition, with LAW FIRM following in a secondary role to reinforce its professional character.
The typeface we designed is inspired by the Greek typographic movement of the '60s and '70s, a period heavily charged politically and socially, culminating in the 1974 post-junta period. Specifically, it is based on the typography used for the publication of the 1975 Constitution, which marked a new beginning for the country. That same year, Takis Baltakos began his journey in law. This detail is not coincidental; the typography becomes a bridge between historical changes and the uninterrupted evolution of the law firm.
The sense of prestige is enhanced by the materiality of the printing. Foil stamping and 3D embossing give the name Baltakos a raised, almost sculpted presence, embodying the stability, consistency, and integrity that define the firm. The interaction with the paper is not simple: it is a tangible experience that evokes official documents, sealed decisions, and legal texts that withstand the test of time.
The layout follows the strict, robust aesthetic of the '70s, with details drawn from the typography and design trends of the era. The elements that make up the layout are not merely aesthetic choices but tell a story—the story of a firm that stands firm through time, serving the law with dedication and deep knowledge.
